After my last post, I got bad car news. They didn't have the right part to fix my A/C drain (and they waited until about 4:30pm to tell me this?! ughhh) and it would be about $300 to fix. womp womp...
So I went home and was mad for a bit.. then I decided to be slightly more productive and went on a walk!
This was my grumpy pre-walk face...
Got back and was still bummed so decided wine was completely necessary. This made me feel muuuuch better ;)
Anyway, on to my advice for today...
Two of my best friends from college live in the same area as me. We like to get together every month or so and grab dinner. One of the best ideas I think I've ever had is to institute a policy of always going to Chipotle on these friend dates. (Yes I realize I could cook dinner at home and invite them over, too... but just go with me here)
Chipotle may be one of the greatest restaurants invented. For around $7, I can get a burrito bowl that will feed me for dinner AND for lunch the next day! The restaurant itself is so relaxed that we can hang out there for 3 hours talking and won't get kicked out. It's glorious! (the BF and I even had our first date at Chipotle-- that's how you know I'm obsessed)
Pro tip: when going to Chipotle, I recommend getting the burrito bowl. People have found that they load up the burrito bowls with much more than you would get on a burrito. You can even ask for a tortilla on the side and make your own burrito, and still have extra filling on the side!
So if you're ever in a situation where you need to meet someone out at lunch/dinner but don't want to break the bank, suggest Chipotle! You won't regret it.
Do you have any favorite (cheap) restaurants? Or are you 1000x better than me and do you invite your friends to your house and make food for them? ;)
