(That title would have been SO much better on Friday instead of Wednesday, right? Oh well)

1. Website Wizardry

Did you notice the BIG CHANGES on Saving Money in your Twenties today??? I have a new theme! YAY! I finally entered the "responsive" theme world (which means that now the site won't look so wonky if you look at it on a cell phone).

I performed said theme change at 4am on Tuesday morning- the best time to do big technological thinking, right? Mike had work stuff that had him out of the house reeeeeally early so I decided to wake up then and work on the website.

Needless to say- I won't be surprised if there are some bugs. Let me know if you try to click on something and it doesn't do what you think it should!  :)

2. Ballin' Baby Shower

We had a really awesome weekend! We started it off with a baby shower for Mike's cousin on Saturday- oh my gosh, this party was AMAZING. There was a DJ, an open bar, and a full catered dinner for ~80 people.

Definitely NOT the typical baby shower you'd think of, right? Yeah, their family doesn't mess around when it comes to parties. I wish I had taken a picture of the set-up! You'd have been impressed.

3.Worst Idea Ever

[Stole this pic from Mike- I was NOT in the mood for taking pictures during this journey!]

Sunday we did the worst thing ever: we decided to bike to Lake Ontario, which is 10 miles from our house. Me, the self-proclaimed hater of biking, somehow decided that a 20 mile jaunt was a good idea.

FALSE. For so many reasons. 1) I do, indeed, still dislike biking. 2) It turns out the "path" that we thought we could take was not a pretty, scenic, continuous path along a river, but a very disjointed one. We found ourselves biking through some veeeery sketchy parts of town. It was terrible.

But we survived and Mike is thankfully still dating me as of today, even though I was a miserable girlfriend for 3+ hours. haha.

4. Best Idea Ever

[I learned how to use panorama on my phone!]

We returned to the scene of the crime (Lake Ontario) Monday and hung out at the beach all day! (but we drove this time). I am happy to know that we only live 20 minutes from a pretty awesome beach!

And no, I still can't get over the fact that that is a LAKE and I can't see the other side of it. And that if I could see the other side, it would be Canada. Weird.

5. On the Road Again

[pic from the last time we drove down- hopefully there are more leaves on the trees now! :) ]

Tomorrow morning I am roadtrippin' to see my family! It has been 6 weeks since I've seen them- that is WAY too long! My youngest niece graduates from preschool on Friday; I am excited to be able to see that! :)

What's the farthest distance you've ever biked?

What did you do for your Memorial Day weekend?
